Plumeria Mornings
8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Time block includes set up and breakdown.  Does not include next-day strike.
All décor and equipment must be removed from property by 2:00 pm

Up to 20 guests – $2,000
21-80 guests – $3,500

Any additional guests, above and beyond the count of (80), will be charged at $100 per person, plus tax.  Additional set-up / strike time will be charged at $500 per hour, plus tax.


Makena Sunset
2:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Time block includes set up.  Does not include next-day strike.
All décor and equipment must be removed from property by 11:30 pm on the same evening.

Up to 40 guests – $4,000
41-60 guests – $4,500
61-80 Guests – $5,000

Any additional guests, above and beyond the count of (80), will be charged at $100 per person, plus tax.  Additional set-up / strike time will be charged at $500 per hour, plus tax.


Ohana Event
10:00 AM – 9:00 PM

For LArger Events, with access to the property for 3 days.

Set up day prior – from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Next-day strike – all décor and equipment must be removed from property by 10:00 AM

up to 80 guests – $8,500

Any additional guests, above and beyond the count of (80), will be charged at $100 per person, plus tax.  Additional set-up / strike time will be charged at $500 per hour, plus tax.


Pricing above does not include Hawaii State GET of 4.166%.

A professional shuttle company is required to transport guests to and from Ponomakena Sanctuary.

All events require a Maui-based, Event Planning Company for the day of the function, and must be booked on a full-service basis.  The Coordinator must be on property during the entire event.

In order to preserve Ponomakena Sanctuary, and respect for our neighbors, music must stop at 9:00 PM.
All Guests must exit the property by 9:30 PM.
Planners can assist with planning an after-party at the Hotel, or another location, after the event.

The rental fee for Ponomakena does not include an outdoor pavilion or tent.

Ponomakena offers a double-pole, Sailcloth tent for rent in a specifically designated area.   No other tents are allowed to be erected on the property and no other location on property will be considered.  Tent rental must be contracted a minimum of fourteen (14) days prior to event.

An additional charge of $1,000 will be required if the tent is requested on the day of the event, and must be ordered by 8:00 AM.  Please ask for current pricing.
